Job summary

Are you looking for a role where you can make a real difference to the lives of children and young people in Birmingham?

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to help support our Mental Health Support Teams. You will have all the skills you would expect from an Administrator but most importantly, you will care about children and young people and want to make a difference.

As an Administrator, you will support the establishment of positive integrated management information and administrative systems across the whole service including how information is recorded, collected, used, stored, and analysed to ensure that services are aligned to best meet local needs.

You will provide professional information, advice, and support to skill mix teams to develop, deliver and maintain effective and standardised information governance systems and excellent customer focused care across the service.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Ensuring excellent customer focused care and services to the public
  • Support cohesive Information Governance systems
  • Assist with the development of administrative standard operating procedures
  • Support the integration of Management Information Systems
  • Assist in the development of digital services
  • Collate information and data for activity and performance reports
  • Support with key roles and responsibilities in maintaining health, safety and security
  • Taking, producing and distributing minutes of meetings

You will share Compass commitment to safeguarding children, young people and adults,promoting equal opportunities and involving stakeholders in the development of services.

You must be able to travel between the administrative hub and other Compass sites and within the local community. A basic level DBS check is required for this role.

Qualifications

Essential

  • NVQ level 3 Business Administration or equivalent
  • Level 2 IT skills i.e. RSA or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • English Language & Maths to GCSE A-C level or equivalent.
  • Customer care experience/qualification e.g. NVQ Level 3

Experience

  • Working in a busy office and customer service environment
  • Working to deadlines and managing multiple projects
  • Using a range of management information systems including extracting and collating data
