Specialist Anaesthetist (UK Consultant) - multiple positions available

Latrobe Regional Health
LRH is working in partnership with the Alfred Health Department of Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine to restructure and expand the Latrobe Regional Health Anaesthetic Department's new facilities.
LRH have several positions open for specialist anaesthetists interested in elective and emergency Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and anaesthesia for other surgical sub-specialties.
Complimentary portfolios are available for those with particular interests in acute pain services, Perioperative Medicine, safety, quality, research and anaesthetists’ education and training.
A state-of-the-art electronic anaesthetic record spanning pre-anaesthetic, intraoperative and post-acute care will be available in the new operating theatre facilities.
Remuneration package includes:

The Location
Latrobe Regional Health, located in regional Victoria. A $223.5 million hospital expansion due to open in March 2024, offering expanded maternity and paediatric facilities, a large intensive care unit, increase medical and surgical units and state of the art operating theatres.
Located 150 km east of Melbourne, LRH is the regional provider of a broad range of specialist health services including hospital based, sub-acute and mental health services across the Gippsland region.
LRH currently employ over 2700 people and are looking to expand that to 3000 in the next year.

This permanent position is suitable for qualified UK & IE Doctors subject to meeting professional registration and work visa requirements.
To apply for this position you will require Specialist Registration with the Medical Board of Australia in this speciality.
Candidates can apply to ANZCA for college comparability assessments against the criteria for an Australian-trained specialist in the same field of speciality practice to obtain medical registration with AHPRA.
