There are a number of shifts for Band 5 Bank Staff Nurses across varying divisions at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals

Main duties of the job
As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating the personalised health and wellbeing care needs of patients, in line with the Trust's Values & Nursing & Midwifery Professional Framework goals, for example: personal hygiene and comfort, vital signs and EWS, early recognition and management of acutely ill patients.
You will provide clinical supervision and advice for other staff and students to support them in reaching their full potential
It is essential that you have at least 150 hours of experience within the last three months within an acute healthcare environment (such as on a Hospital ward or in a care home). If you do not have this experience then we will be unable to continue with your application.

- oAppropriate NMC Registration
- oRN1, RN2 General Nursing Posts
- oRN8 or RNC Children's Nursing Posts
- oDiploma in Nursing
- oNMC recognised Mentorship qualification or willingness to work towards following 18 months commencement in post
- oEvidence of continuing education or development for more experienced Band 5 nurses

- oRecent & relevant health care experience in an acute hospital setting (at least 150hrs in last 3 months)
