Job summary

We are seeking a salaried GP to join our team (with a view to partnership for the right candidate). Start date is flexible as we are willing to wait for the right candidate. Salary is very competitive and number of sessions negotiable, but ideally 4 - 6 sessions per week.We offer 8 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave.

As a Practice we are just as invested in looking after our staff as we are about looking after our patients. Supporting each other and developing a workforce who are happy in their jobs, and enjoy coming in to work each day, is important to us.

Our multi-disciplinary team are highly skilled and experienced and work well together to ensure that the workload is shared equally and efficiently. Appointment requests are triaged by our care navigators to ensure that our patients are able to see the right person at the right time, or are signposted to the correct service for their needs.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be team-orientated and committed to the highest standards of care. We strongly believe in a good work/life balance and like to make sure our GPs go home at a decent time. To ensure this happens, our clinics have built in protected administration slots and we cap the number of appointments per clinic.

We are a rural, well established, forward thinking fully dispensing GMS Practice. We have a great multi-disciplinary team which consists of 2 GP Partners, a salaried GP, an ANP, a Clinical Pharmacist and a highly skilled nursing, administration and dispensing team. We are located in modern, purpose-built premises in West Norfolk (close to the Suffolk border) and provide high quality care to 5500 patients. We have a culture of patient-focused care and are high achievers both in terms of QOF performance and patient feedback. Job responsibilities

We are seeking a salaried GP to join our team (with a potential view to partnership for the right candidate). Start date is flexible as we are willing to wait for the right candidate. Salary is very competitive and number of sessions negotiable, but ideally between 4 - 6 sessions per week. We offer 8 weeks annual leave, 1 week study leave and we will reimburse or pay for your annual medical indemnity. The successful candidate will be team-orientated and committed to the highest standards of care. The post holder will perform the usual duties expected of a salaried GP, whilst managing a caseload and dealing with a wide range of health needs in the primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.In accordance with the Practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone and online consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
