Full time: 37.5 hours MSK position. 3 days - Buckshaw Hospital (Outpatients) 2 days - Fulwood Hall Hospital (Inpatients and Outpatients)

Main duties of the job

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Physiotherapist to join our busy departments based at Buckshaw Hospital and Fulwood Hall Hospital. The caseload is varied and the successful candidate will be required to work across the outpatient and inpatient setting. The purpose of this role is to provide the highest quality of Physiotherapy services to our patients. They will be responsible for inpatient, day case and outpatient physiotherapy services as required and to liaise closely with all other members of the multi-disciplinary team. We provide a 7-day service so weekend work will be required on a roster basis.

The caseload is varied and the successful candidate will be required to work across the outpatient and inpatient setting. The purpose of this role is to provide the highest quality of Physiotherapy services to our patients. They will be responsible for inpatient, day case and outpatient physiotherapy services as required and to liaise closely with all other members of the multi-disciplinary team.   • Relevant qualifications and registration with HCPC and CSP.
  • Experience in inpatient orthopaedics and post-surgical orthopaedic/MSK outpatients.
  • Ability to help cover the weekend rota.
  • The ability to assess, diagnose and provide high quality individualised treatment programmes for patients.
  • Ability to demonstrate good clinical reasoning processes.
  • Excellent IT skills including patient management systems, outlook and MS Packages.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A willingness to work positively and effectively within a team environment to achieve team goals and including delivery of in service training.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of attention to detail whilst working towards tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility as the service requires.
