Job summary
Why join us as a Bank Registered Nurse?
As a Bank Registered Nurse at St Wilfrid's you will have the time to listen and understand the individual needs and wishes of our patients and their loved ones, making sure each one gets the care they deserve and helping them achieve the best quality of life for as long as possible.
"I think its an amazing place to work. You can feel drawn to this type of care, and working here at our new purpose-built specialist facility in Bosham allows us to work together so well. The two things that really make a difference as a nurse are team support, and development opportunities. Theres really strong support from the team- both your nursing peers, and also your medical team- you have time to discuss your patients with the consultants and doctors, and immediate access to colleagues. If I knew a nursing professional, a student or someone just starting out in nursing, I would definitely advise them to consider hospice nursing. Im very proud to do the job I do."

You all made some of the most difficult times more bearable and gave us some truly wonderful memories that we will cherish and never forget.
Working on the Inpatient Unit, you will learn new clinical skills; how to use complementary therapy and holistic support alongside complex medication regimes to manage patients' challenging physical and psychological symptoms.
We encourage you to come and have a look around our Hospice and see the great facilities we are offering. All patients have individual rooms leading out to our gardens and it is a lovely environment for both patients and staff.
