About us
Wood End Health Centre is a busy urban practice, serving a growing population of over 8100 patients, with high levels of deprivation. We are dedicated, caring and enthusiastic about providing high quality healthcare for our community. We currently have three partners, two salaried GPs and two practice nurses and have recently appointed a new forward-thinking, dynamic management team to support our future planned development.

The practice has a strong training and development ethos. We are a training practice for Foundation and GP specialist post-graduate doctors in training, a host practice for the Trailblazer Deprivation Fellowship Scheme, and provide placements for medical students from Warwick Medical School.
As a partnership team we bring a wealth of experience in managing the ever changing challenges and demands of General Practice, partnership and of our practice population. We are also a supportive partnership and recognise and value the importance of work life balance. We are passionate about working to improve health inequality through excellent Primary Care, and are looking for a like-minded GP to join our team.

Experience
Essential
- Good organisational and IT skills desirable.
- Will have excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to working as part of a team.
- Will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient focused services.
- Record of on-going CPD and learning.
Qualifications
Essential
- Current GMC registration and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing working or restrictions on practice) and engaged in regular clinical work.
- MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.
