Main duties of the job

We are looking for an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Your week will include several different sessions, such as on the day appointments, pre-bookable appointments, practice administration session, allocated visiting doctor, duty doctor and personal CPD sessions. This ensures an enjoyable variety, but most importantly that the admin and visiting GP have taken care of all home visits and lab results/script queries/urgent docman/tasks for the day, so that you can concentrate on maximising time with your patients.

We understand that work life balance is key and therefore we try to be as flexible as we can and we are happy to support those new to CCT, with mentoring and a reduced admin load. There are opportunities for split days or evening/weekend work through our Primary Care Network.

Not forgetting the important bit! We pay £10,700 per session per year, with indemnity covered by the practice and we can offer tier 2 Sponsorship. You will enjoy 6 weeks annual leave and 1 weeks study leave pro-rata.

About us

We enjoy regular social events, park runs and have an annual Summer and Christmas party. Fuelled by our bean to cup coffee machine and biscuit cupboard throughout the morning, we meet for lunch daily, using this time to catch up and support each other.

We strive to provide high quality clinical care by offering a range of services delivered by a team of dedicated staff in a safe, dynamic and supportive environment. The patient is at the heart of all that we do and we respond to their individual needs with respect, care and compassion.

We aim to provide high quality medical training and pastoral support to students and junior doctors.
