Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the experienced team of staff working within the Intermediate Care Community Hospitals at Westwood Park Community Hospital.

All Community Hospitals are nurse led units and are closely supported by the Elderly Care Consultants from Bradford Teaching Hospitals, including the wider multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a committed, hardworking and caring individual who is forward thinking with strong leadership qualities, who is keen to support new developments and changes taking place within the community setting. You will demonstrate an interest of working with older people. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate commitment to personal and service development and a dedication to providing a high standard of nursing care.

Applicants must be 1st level registered level nurse, with excellent communication skills with or without previous ward experience, have 998/SLIP or be willing to undertake. Proven ability to prioritize and plan workload and to be capable of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
