We are proud of our Maternity Service at Whipps Cross Hospital. We are a supportive and friendly team dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care to our service users

We have just completed a £6.8m project, funded by Barts Charity to renovate women's and maternity services to vastly improve the experience of our expectant mothers and their families. This includes a bespoke new birthing centre with 8 delivery rooms 5 with birthing pools. The delivery suite has been completely refurbished with all birthing room having on- suite facilities. In addition to this we are working closely with our redevelopment colleagues on the case for a new Whipps Cross Hospital, which will proudly host a state-of-the-art Maternity Unit.

We are looking for a passionate midwife who has an enthusiasm for triage to join our team.

Currently we are in the process of implementing BSOTs and wish to expand our existing triage team to ensure a safe transition from our current model of working. Ideally the successful candidate will have some experience in triage. An understanding of BSOTs would be an advantage however we are able to support development in this area for the midwives!

You will be based in Triage Department but there will be an expectation to rotate to delivery suite and other areas for upskilling.
