An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our small friendly team.

As a staff nurse you will plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of nursing care. You will be working with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, so will need to be organised and be able to prioritise your own workload.

Mottistone is a 10 bedded surgical ward which provides care for both for pre and post operative patients, whom are on either an elective or emergency surgical care pathway. We support a wide range of surgical specialities including; breast; gynae, urology and colorectal, alongside other surgeries.

We have multiple daily admissions and discharges, so our ward is a fast-paced environment. As a ward we focus on ensuring bed availability for our elective patients; whilst supporting emergency surgical admissions when required to enable patient flow through the hospital.

  • Registered Practitioner with current registration.

  • Completion of work based learning nursing modules.
