Main duties of the job

What are we looking for in our Regional Directors?

  • A proven record of leading a successful portfolio of homes, inside the care sector.
  • A natural people person who enjoys building lasting professional relationships and demonstrating the value of collaboration
  • An ability to quickly establish credibility and build rapport and trust amongst key stakeholders
  • Evidence of successfully managing and delivering business KPIs, as well as developing and implementing strategies to drive growth within a complex business
  • A demonstrable record of effective decision making, strategic thinking and project delivery.

Job responsibilities

About the role

  • Leading a team of care home managers, you will give them all the support they need to deliver excellent customer service, high quality standards for our residents, and strong leadership for our people
  • Working across all homes in your region, you will ensure each one provides high standards of customer care and services in line with company policy, customer expectations, service level agreements and current legislation
  • You will manage home performance, conducting monthly reviews to drive key areas such as occupancy levels, commercial awareness, customer focus, quality standards, people management and hours management. Youll also carry out monthly internal quality audits, ensuring external regulatory requirements and internal processes and procedures are followed
  • Its likely that a substantial amount of travel will be required, including occasional overnight stays and some evening commitments.
