Job Title: Registered Paediatric Nurse

Main duties of the job

What youll be responsible for:

  • To always maintain confidentiality of information regarding children/ families.
  • Promote and maintain good and effective communication with patients, relatives, and visitors.
  • Persuade patients and families to co-operate with treatment for their well-being, effectively deal with anxious relatives.
  • Ensure parents/carers and the child (when appropriate), can agree and/or negotiate care.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

Location: - New QE II Hospital, East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust

Pay Rate: £17.69 - £28.3 per hour

Qualifications

Essential

  • A Paediatric Nursing Degree

Experience

Essential

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric A&E Nurse
  • environment within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with
  • current nursing practices.
  • In addition to experience, all Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of
  • Statement of NMC Registration
  • Degree /Diploma in Nursing
  • Midwives need the following added to adverts
