We are currently recruiting to an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist position to our Integrated Crises Assessment Hub, based at Block 8, Goodmayes Hospital, Barley Lane, Ilford IG3 8XJ. This is a new post that has been created to deal with the increased demand on acute services, and to provide an alternative to A&E presentations. This post is currently vacanct and we are keen to recruit to this position.
You will will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

Job responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, across Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest.
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external mental health providers and acute hospitals
- Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement.
- Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative
- Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
