As a pivotal figure in our organization, you willdrive significant improvements in healthcare services for over 1.9million residents, leveraging a budget of approximately £3.5 billion.Role Overview:

As the Associate Director, you will champion the development and implementation of a safer and more responsive healthcare system.This role not only requires a sophisticated understanding of patientsafety frameworks but also an impassioned approach to leadingchange and fostering a culture of safety and learning across thehealthcare spectrum.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:Develop strategic initiatives to enhance patient safety and integratecomprehensive learning systems across our services.Provide expert guidance and oversight to the Patient Safety andComplaints teams, ensuring alignment with national safetystandards and effective complaint resolution.Engage with a variety of stakeholders, including the Chief NursingOfficer and Chief Medical Officer, to facilitate collaborative andmatrixed working relationships.Lead the adoption of the NHS Patient Safety Incident ResponseFramework (PSIRF) and the Learn from Patient Safety Events Service(LFPSE), ensuring these frameworks significantly impact ourstrategic objectives.
