Nurse Apprenticeship - (Registered Nurse Degree Adult/Children Pathway) - Annex 21

This exciting opportunity is being offered to all Healthcare Assistants, Assistant Practitioners or Nursing Associates who are looking to develop their skills and career to become a Registered Degree Nurse with NCIC.

Applications are invited from Healthcare Assistants/Assistant Practitioners/Nursing Associates.

Applicants MUST possess GCSE Maths and English Grade A-C/4-9, or Functional Skills Level 2 and have the certificates as evidence along with the Care Certificate. Evidence of level 3 study is also required. Note: You will be required to provide these prior to interview.

Main duties of the job

The apprenticeship is a fulltime programme and you will be required to work 37.5 hours per week. The apprenticeship will be delivered by the Open University over 3 years or 2 years if you are an Assistant Practitioner or Nursing Associate. You will received 6 hours of study time per week and undertake placement across the Trust to meet the NMC requirements of the apprenticeship.

Disclosure and Barring Service:

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE Maths & English at Grade C/4 or above or Functional Skills Level 2 or Equivalent
