Main duties of the job
The South London & Maudsley NHS Trust provides a full range of
mental health services to people of Southwark, Lewisham, Lambeth, and Croydon
as well as substance misuse services for people in Bexley, Greenwich, and
Bromley. The Trust provides specialist services to people from across the UK.
It has approximately 4,800 staff and a budget of £300 million. The trust
also works closely with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and
Neuroscience (IoPPN), King's College London and are part of King's Health
Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre. There are very few organisations in
the world that have such wide-ranging capabilities working with mental illness.
Their scope is unique because it is built on three major foundations: care and
treatment, science and research, and training.
As part of the delivery of the
Parent Infant Relationships and Perinatal/Parental MH pathway in the Start for
Life Programme in Southwark we are looking for a B7 Clinical Psychologist

Job responsibilities
You'll find solutions to solve everyday problems for patients such as:
- Providing, highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions to support patients needs.
- Efficiently managing a caseload to formulate and implement strategies to meet your patients goals.
- Working within or alongside a multi-disciplinary team to effectively assess and intervene with your patients psychological needs.
- Mentor, supervise and teach qualified and unqualified staff, including students.

Experience
Essential
- Proficient in data reporting is essential
- NHS experience is desirable but not essential
Qualifications
Essential
- A professional registration with HCPC
- A doctorate in Clinical Psychology
Desirable
- In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:
- Relevant Qualifications
- Registration with the relevant Registration Body
