Job summary
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is looking for qualified General Practitioners, to work on a sessional contract, as part of ongoing work to enhance its Urgent Treatment Centre.
Main duties of the job
Clinicians are expected to see between three to four patients per hour depending on complexity
Has access to diagnostics such as radiology and pathology, as well as to inpatient specialists for review and admission where required
Current shift patterns available are 0800-1600 / 1000-1800 and 1600-0000There will also be a range of salaried positions available in the near future.
About us
Bolton's Urgent Treatment Centre service:o Currently operates from 0800-0000 (16 hours per day, 7 days per week)o Sees a range of minor illnesses and receive patients direct from 111 and streamed from the emergency departmento Is co-located with the Minor Injuries service, staffed by Emergency Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Associateso Is also co-located with the Emergency Department and overseen by the ED consultant in charge (who is available for support)
