Job summary
Our team in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are recruiting for a Schools Liaison Worker, to establish and maintain positive relationships between WithYou and schools/education providers, young people and their parents/carers.
Main duties of the job
This is a key role in our work with young people and their families, in order to ensure they have visibility and understanding of the work that we do. Your expertise will be instrumental in building effective relationships with key contacts and delivery partners to maximise promotional opportunities and creating essential links with local schools and educational settings to increase referral numbers into our service. With your strong background in working with young people, you'll help us to coordinate the delivery of an effective school resilience education package and will organise open events and awareness days.

Qualifications
Essential
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car, to enable you to travel to different sites within the area.
- Should you be successful in your application, you will be required to provide 3 years' worth of references and where applicable, will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Experience
Essential
- Strong background in working with young people and their families, including delivery group work
- The ability to delivery engaging presentations and workshops
- Experience of working in partnership with a range of statutory and non-statutory children's agencies
- Knowledge of drugs and alcohol issues and their impact upon young people and their families
- Exceptional organisational skills
