enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to join their Team. The post
holder will work within the Community Eating Disorder Service and provide
effective interventions and service delivery models that leads to children and
young people in Worcestershire.

Job description
Job responsibilities
Provide a clinical service to patients in a range of settings including
community-based clinic settings and in-patient units, child development
centres, schools and patients homes as appropriate. Be part of the clinical
assessment and overall planning for the young person, which will involve
attending weekly cases discussion and referral meetings whilst taking part in
MDT (multidisciplinary meetings).
Support the transition of patients and carers to adult services as
appropriate.
Promote optimal nutrition for patients on the caseload.
Manage clinical risk and be individually responsible for a clinical
caseload of patients with a range of complex conditions and diverse needs, requiring
competent clinical practice for outpatients and patients at home, accessing
clinical supervision on a planned basis.
Negotiate and agree dietary or nutritional goals with individual
patients and /or their carers using motivational interviewing, counselling and
cognitive behaviour therapy tools as applicable. This may include identifying
individual barriers to change and helping clients to manage them.

Experience
Essential
- Prior experience of working in nutritional support
- Experience of working with people with mental health conditions
- Experience of working with change behaviour techniques
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team
- Contribution to audit and research
- Experience of delivering malnutrition screening training
Desirable
- In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:
- Relevant Qualifications
- Registration with the relevant Registration Body
Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in Dietetics
- Evidence of postgraduate qualification training or courses in a relevant area
- HCPC registration
