The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is a combined acute and community Trust providing services at Rotherham Hospital and across the borough to a population of 264,700 people.

Main duties of the job
Leading exercise tolerance tests and tilt table tests
Ambulatory ECG & BP fitting and analysis
Performing and reporting 12 Lead ECGs to SCST standards
Diagnostic angiography and pacemaker implantation
Assisting in Pacemaker Clinic
Myocardial perfusion studies
This role will include outpatient and inpatient work
Supervision of junior physiologists

A BIT ABOUT THE WARD/DEPARTMENT:
The cardiology suite provide an investigative service, including facilities for open access ECGs, exercise testing, Echocardiogram and facilities for a Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic and Pacemaker clinic with follow up clinic.All Cardiac Outpatient Clinics and investigations will take place in one area, improving patient convenience and facilities.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Leading exercise tolerance tests and tilt table tests

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
Specialist Cardiac Physiologist within the Cardiac Physiology Service. Performs and reports a wide range of routine and specialised cardiac investigations, under the guidance of the Service Lead. Maintains and further develops knowledge and skills. Supervises junior physiologists, students and cardiographers.
Candidates must possess be a fully qualified Cardiac Physiologist (completed PTP/STP/Cardiac Physiology degree or equivalent) plus hold resuscitation and defibrillation certification. Ideally they will be registered with the RCCP/ AHCS or HCPC and hold SCST accreditation.
