Job summary
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking experienced Occupational Therapists to provide a high quality, responsive service for patients in inpatient settings within the Royal Berkshire Hospital within various areas.

Working in Royal Berkshire, you will be working as part of one of the largest general hospital foundation trusts in the country and the main provider of acute and specialist care services for west Berkshire. With six sites, the Trust employs approximately 5,500 staff and serves a population of around 1,000,000 people.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the planning and delivery of Occupational Therapy within their designated area. Managing a caseload of patients with complex needs.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for the planning and delivery of Occupational Therapy within the designated area. Manage a caseload of service users with complex needs, using evidence based/person centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.

Qualifications
Essential
- To have a degree or other recognised qualification in occupational therapy
Desirable
- Post graduate specialist experience as demonstrated by ongoing CPD , evidence-based project work, post graduate teaching
Experience
Essential
- Understanding of a broad range of Elderly care, Medical, Neurological, musculoskeletal &orthopaedic or surgical conditions
- Specialist knowledge and experience of a wide range of approaches to the management of conditions, including advanced clinical reasoning and treatment skills
Desirable
- Specialist post graduate experience
