Job summary
We are looking for a full time or part time GP to join our team. Sitting in the shadows of Anfield stadium, we are a busy inner city GMS practice with just over 11,000 patients. The practice is located in a socially deprived area so we have a great deal of real medicine and pathology. We are a friendly team consisting of 6 Partners, 6 salaried GPs, 3 Practice Nurses, 1 H.C.A, 2 Pharmacist, an extensive administration team and an approachable supportive Practice Manager looking after us all. Our GP team is evenly spread from Med Students, F2s and ST1s, to 10 plus years of work and close to retirement which makes for a very knowledgeable team. Our salaried GPs have all joined us straight from qualifying, so we feel we are a supportive practice to new GPs and allow plenty of time to find your feet!
Main duties of the job
The ability to work autonomously providing general medical services for the patients of Priory Medical Centre and to deliver safe and competent medical care when taking part in the day to day activities of the practice including GP surgery, paperwork and home visits.

We are also part of Anfield and Everton PCN and supported by a pool of network staff Including Pharmacists, Paramedics (who carry out the majority of our Home Visits), OTs, First Contact Physios, Social Prescribers and Care Co-Ordinators.

Job responsibilities
To work autonomously providing general medical services for Patients of Priory Medical Centre registered with us on a permanent, temporary or immediately necessary basis
To deliver a safe, competent and acceptable standard of medical care, taking part in the day-to-day activities of Priory Medical Centre including surgery, paperwork and home visits where appropriate
Maintaining appropriate records to ensure continuity and quality of care for Patients. These must be accurate, and where possible, avoid jargon to ensure Patients understand the content if viewing their clinical notes
To collaborate with other GP Partners/employees and Practice staff of Priory Medical Centre on Practice development.
Working to promote Priory Medical Centre positively and engage with Patients in order to improve service delivery
To be involved in Practice development, identifying service changes and developments in line with clinical needs locally. To develop these as part of the NHS Long-Term Plan and other national guidance
To maintain skills to the required professional level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain personal competency
Have a zero tolerance to all forms of abuse
