We are currently looking to employ one Switchboard Operator to work 24 hours per week within the busy switchboard based at Bronglais General Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will join the front line team operating a busy switchboard. You will therefore require excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Shifts include 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am, and 9am-5pm on a rostered basis. Weekends and bank holidays are included for which additional payments will be made.

As a Telephonist there would be expectancy for the successful candidate to offer a large degree of flexibility to the hours worked to cover sickness and annual leave within the department.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
