We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead GP atHMP Isle of Wightto join ourteam.HMP Isle of Wights present role is a category B male training prison.Located on a small island, HMP Isle of Wight is located 8 minutes from St Marys Hospital and 26 minutes away from Cowes Ferry Terminal.
Currently our core hours of operation are 07:30 -17:30
This position isfull time 40 hours a week andyoull receive an annual salary up to 130,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.
You will also provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.
We recognise training and development is key, therefore we provide a training portal to facilitate your needs as well as have an in-depth induction for all staff whether you have experience of working in prisons or not. You will gain insight into Mental Health and Substance Misuse, as well as access to a variety of training opportunities with the opportunity to work towards your RCGP level 2 and other qualifications should you wish.
