Job summary

We have a fantastic opportunity fora Senior MRI Radiographerto join our new team in Oxford (Perspectum) to support the running of ourMRI Service on a full-time fixed site contract.

As a Senior Radiographer you will work in close partnership with the Clinical Lead and Perspectum to ensure we are aligned in every aspect of the service. Perspectum is active in developing quantitative imaging techniques using machine learning and there will be a great opportunity to get involved with research projects and commercial trial work.

Working 36hours per week Monday Sunday

Main duties of the job

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. You will report into the Unit Manager for the service but also have support from a Clinical lead.

As a Senior Radiographer at Alliance Medical you will be responsible for adhering to protocol and procedures to produce high quality images and an exceptional standard of patient and customer care. Skills And Experience

The ideal candidate will perform a wide variety of MRI examinations and this would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience to further develop their career. The successful candidate will have a flexible and patient-focused attitude and be able to work flexibly within the team. We are looking for someone who can build an excellent rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) and continue to provide high standards of care and service. The ideal candidate should have some (1 2 years) MRI experience with the ability and organisational skills to work with the team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy are essential. The candidate should be accustomed to performing different type of MRI scans on a routine basis.

IV Cannulation skills are essential for this role (training will be provided where required)
