currently seeking experienced Occupational Therapists to work within the
fast-paced Acute Medical Unit at North Manchester General Hospital under a long
term placement contract.

Main duties of the job
As an integral member of AMU (Acute Medical
Unit) team, you will be responsible for:
Undertaking a comprehensive assessment of
patients to establish their problems and create accurate treatment plans
Enable a safe and timely discharge for
patients
Manage own caseload of patients
Use high quality clinical reasoning skills and
assessment techniques
Plan and prioritise workload and that of
junior staff

Experience
Essential
- Ideally experience with HIVE (training can be provided)
- Experience working in Acute Medicine and orthopaedics
Qualifications

- Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration)
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
