General Radiographer

Cheshire, The Wilmslow Hospital

Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Shift times: Shifts ranging between 08:00 and 20:00

Salary: £28,450-£32,000 dependent on experience

Were looking for a hard-working Radiographer to join our team at The Wilmslow Hospital, currently rated Outstanding by the CQC.

As a General Radiographer, you will provide a customer focused high quality diagnostic Radiography service to our patients and service users.We are happy to accept applications from newly qualified radiographers.

Main duties of the job

Duties & responsibilities:

Undertake and perform all departmental examinations requested to a high level of radiographic skill.

Assist the Consultant Radiologists in the performance of their examinations, being amenable at all times to a broad spectrum of imaging requests including all aspects of fluoroscopic screening procedures

Provide radiographic cover in theatre examinations of all kinds whilst adhering to radiation protection and sterile procedure protocols.

Undertake admin as required such as image transfer

Report all equipment faults and assist with stock control

Participate in audits for the radiology department as and when required

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Diagnostic Radiography degree
  • HCPC registered
  • Strong IT skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Desirable

  • Imaging experience
  • Patient Care
