Senior Dental Officer - Prisons HMP Suffolk Sites Permanent Full Time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days

Bases: HMP Hollesley Bay, HMP Warren Hill &

HMP Highpoint

Salary: £74,126 - £86,701 per annum

Applications are invited from enthusiastic dentists for this post based at our HMP sites in Suffolk. You will provide a full range of NHS care to offenders in HMP Hollesley Bay, HMP Warren Hill and HMP Highpoint. A registered, experienced Specialist Dental Nurse will support all sessions.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide a full range of oral care and screening to patients in HMP establishments. However, there may be a requirement to work within other CDS clinics in the community. All prison sites offer NHS dental care. It is essential you can fulfil the travel requirements of the post. Candidates must be well motivated, ethical and have good communication skills.

You will need to be GDC Registered be on the NHS Performer List. Enhanced DBS and the ability to meet Ministry of Justice clearance will be required.
