We are seeking to appoint a knowledgeable, driven and supportive Consultant Gastroenterologist to help our visionto become the best small island-based health and care system in the world. Main duties of the job

The Gastroenterology service on the Isle of Man is currently supported by one Consultant, one Specialty Doctor working at Staff Grade level and an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Gastroenterology), along with a Hepatitis C Nurse. Nobles Hospital offers a modern endoscopy unit which is home to high quality facilities that includes three procedure rooms, single sex recovery bays, decontamination facilities and a dedicated patient reception and waiting area. It offers services for gastrointestinal, urological and respiratory investigations with endoscopes. The hospital is currently exploring the potential to take part in the Merseyside & Cheshire Cancer Alliance Capsule Endoscopy Network programme to improve the effectiveness of the delivery of capsule endoscopies and the reading of their results.
