My ethos as the Manager is to promote happiness at work and try to provide the teams with an environment that puts the staff at ease so they feel comfortable to question anything. This in turn will encourage the team to go that extra mile for the patients, which is why we are all here!

The successful candidate will need to ensure that high standards of Nursing Care are delivered to patients on the team caseload and be responsible for addressing any areas of poor performance and identifying and promoting service improvement. You will be encouraged to engage in decision making daily.

You will be a pivotal part of the Integrated Health and Social Care team to provide multidisciplinary working, that will also enhance care delivery to the patients. Clinical skills for the role include Catheterisation, Venepuncture, Wound Care, Compression bandaging. Hickman/PICC Line management and End of life care. Having previous experience in a leadership role would be desirable.

The Community Nursing Team is skill mixed with registrants and non-registrants and you will be expected to share up to date learning with your peers in order to support and develop the team to deliver excellence.

You will be provided with regular supervision and support with ongoing professional development as identified in your annual appraisal.
