Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide the full range of
general medical services managing a caseload with a wide range of health needs
in a primary care setting, in line with the GPS Healthcare objectives of
providing the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary
patients
To support the clinical and administrative team to
manage a busy and interesting clinical caseload. There will be the opportunity
over time to take part in leading on key disease areas and assist in developing
appropriate healthcare services for a diverse patient list.
Involvement in audits, practice & service developments, QI work, teaching and GSF/MDT meetings
Reception Signposting a priority, GP Workflow Administrators and an Acute Care Team
A team of Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedics, ANPs and Social Prescribers to support GPs and patients

We are able to offer our Salaried GPs Salary according to experience post GP CCT: <5years £10,500 / session, > 5years £10,700 / session

Qualifications
Essential
- Primary medical degree
- Vocationally trained and accredited GP with MRCGP
Experience

- A vocationally trained and accredited GP with MRCGP
- Excellent knowledge of NHS and clinical procedures
- A good knowledge of and interest in general practice and primary care
- A good working knowledge of national primary care strategies and ideas on how to implement these within the practice
- Experience of working as part of a multi disciplinary team
- Able to put the needs of the practice and team ahead of individual needs at busy times, periods of increased workload and respond in a flexible way to functions in workload
Desirable
- An interest in a particular disease area and willingness to take a leadership role within it
- To demonstrate the ability to focus on long-term goals rather than short-term issues/details
- A good working knowledge of national primary care strategies and ideas on how to implement these within the practice
- Able to focus on long term strategic goals rather than short term issues / details
