Job description
Job responsibilities
Assess
diagnose and treat patients with predominantly high-risk feet This will include
full screening for patients with, for example, diabetes mellitus where
necessary using specialist equipment,
Carrying
out detailed patient assessments, forming and evaluating treatment plans for
each patient.
Liaise
with patients, their careers, and others, with a view to education, empowerment,
and improvement of clinical outcomes
Supervise
and provide a point of reference for band 5 Podiatrists and Podiatry
Assistants.
Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
- Registered with HCPC
- A certificate in administration of local anaesthetics
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Podiatric Medicine
Experience
Essential
- Knowledge and understanding of Clinical Governance
Desirable
- In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:
- Relevant Qualifications
- Registration with the relevant Registration Body
