The appointed fellow will gain excellent training in all aspects of neuroradiology imaging.

The appointed fellow will be expected to prepare and present, under the direct supervision of a consultant, at the neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, stroke and neurology MDTs.

In addition to core diagnostic neuroradiology, the applicants can gain experience, if interested in

The Fellowship is designed to be flexible, allowing adjustments to match the Fellow's individual interests and expertise.

There are extensive academic opportunities for Fellows. Involvement in research is an expectation of the Fellowship program with protected academic time. Candidates will receive assistance with their CESR application and portfolio development as needed.

About us

The University Hospital of North Midlands is a standalone training scheme (a part of West Midlands School of Radiology). We currently have 38 trainees. We are also the main teaching hospital for the Keele University Undergraduate Medical School and there are close ties with the University of Keele and Staffordshire University.

In addition, there will be opportunities to provide teaching sessions to the Radiology registrars on the training scheme and a lecturer role to medical students at Keele University.

Research is a growing area of activity. A specialised research team within the department will help support research, studies and collaboration with other centres and the industry.

We are a top ranked trauma unit in the country and a Clinical Fellow job here will provide great exposure to acute body radiology imaging.
