An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People and Culture Team Administrator to join NHS Kent and Medway's PeopleStrategy team, on a secondment basis.Working with colleagues within the ICB and stakeholders across the system, including NHS Trusts, Primary Care, Social Care andNHS England.The postholder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Kent and Medway People Strategy 2023 - 2028 by providingeffective administration and project support to managers and leads within the People Strategy Team.We are looking for someone with experience in administrative tasks and involvement in projects. An ideal candidate should beproactive, open to learn, manage competing demands and an excellent communicator.The team promotes flexible, and hybrid working and strives to ensure we attain our system ambition of making Kent andMedway a great place to live, work and learn.We highly encourage applications from candidates who may want to apply for this position on a part time basis or on reducedhours basis.

Main duties of the job

The main responsibilities of the role will be supporting the team with the administrative tasks and managing records of thePeople Strategy Team's projects.This will include minute taking; accurately recording information and actions from sensitive and complex meetings, organisingmeetings, events and providing relevant updates to stakeholders.The post holder will manage databases, distribution lists, maintain logs and manage the team mailbox. The postholder shouldalso be proactive, manage competing demands and be able to work within a team and support the achievement of the teamgoals.The ideal candidate should also have experience in producing and maintaining high quality documents, plans and simpledatabases using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.The postholder will report to the People and Culture, Business Manager role supporting the Kent and Medway PeopleProgramme.

Essential

  • Previous experience working autonomously and proactively as an administrator within a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Previous experience of working within projects
  • Experience managing complex meetings/workshops including, minute taking, summarising notes and actions.

  • Clear Communication skills with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/ instructions to stakeholders.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
