Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Acute Oncology Team at Scarborough Hospital.
We are looking to recruit an individual that is able to adapt to changing demands, and is committed to providing a high-quality patient focused service.
This role will require the post holder to demonstrate excellent communication & interpersonal skills and be able to work independently and within a team.
Candidates must be registered with the NMC and meet the essential criteria as specified in the person specification.
Main duties of the job
Commencing/maintaining key documentation
Triage and review acute oncology patients
Identification of flagged patients through CPD
Liaising with relevant MDT
See in-patients with a new cancer diagnosis and no obvious primary
Attend weekly MUO MDT
Service development
Commencing/maintaining key documentation
Actively participate in Audit
