Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Acute Oncology Team at York Hospital.We are looking to recruit an individual that is able to adapt to changing demands, and is committed to providing a high-quality patient focused service.This role will require the post holder to demonstrate excellent communication & interpersonal skills and be able to work independently and within a team.

Main duties of the job

Commencing/maintaining key documentation

Triage and review acute oncology patients

Identification of flagged patients through CPD

Liaising with relevant MDT

See in-patients with a new cancer diagnosis and no obvious primary

Attend weekly MUO MDT

Service development

Commencing/maintaining key documentation

Actively participate in Audit

Patient feedback
