Knowledge Requirements
Essential
- Good knowledge of the role and importance of Health Informatics within the NHS.
- Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of analysing complex data using a variety of sources/information systems and experience of NHS definitions.
- Able to work with large datasets and apply analytical skills to complex problem solving in a structured manner.
- The ability to provide sometimes highly complex information in a clear and understandable format.
- Demonstrate effective report writing and communication skills, with experience in delivering to all levels of an organisation.
- Ability to design and produce process modelling/ mapping to support Project Managers with implementing business change.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills; communicate complex information verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
Desirable
- Knowledge and understanding of local strategic digital plans
- Understanding of transformation across health and care
- Knowledge of various database languages
Qualifications
Essential
- Educated to Degree Level standard or equivalent relevant experience
- Evidence of on-going personal development

- Experience of working in a project/ programme management office environment.
- Advanced IT skills, including spreadsheets, databases and MS office applications.
- Experienced in data retrieval, analysis, and effectively presenting information
