There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 7 Sister / Charge Nurse a relevant post specialist course and significant experience to join the Critical Care Outreach Team at The Royal London Hospital for a 9 month secondment.

This opportunity will allow the individual to develop their clinical assessment skills and become an independent practitioner whilst maintaining the ability to work collaboratively as part of the wider multi-professional team.

In addition, the post holder will be involved with the delivery of the Acute Care Skills programme that incorporates formal and informal teaching including simulation training. There are also opportunities to be involved in audit and service improvement.

Main duties of the job

To achieve safe effective clinical care 24/7 introducing a practitioner role as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team will have a full range of skills and competencies to meet the immediate needs of sick patients.
