Job summary

Applications are invited for a motivated, enthusiastic and organised Secretary to join our pharmacy team at Glan Clwyd Hospital.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy team and ensuring the smooth operation of the department. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong administrative skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Main duties of the job

The role will include a wide range of duties, including, but not limited to, general office duties, facilitating and attending meetings, providing team leaders' support in respect of annual leave and sickness absence management.

Candidates should have a good general education background and experience of office work together with excellent organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate must be able to work using their own initiative without direct supervision. The ability to use basic electronic systems is essential, as is knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience within a pharmaceutical or medical environment would be beneficial but not essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
