An exciting opportunity has arisen within Chapel Street
Medical Centre for a motivated and enthusiastic GP to join our positive,
friendly, and supportive team for up to 9 sessions per week to be part of and
enhance our team.
We are a committed, flexible and democratic 5 Partner team
on the Nottingham edge of Derby - situated in the heart of England - excellent
local schools / competitive house prices - with easy access to the Peak
District as well as the M1 - 90 minute direct train ride to Central
London.
We aim to promote a healthy work-life balance - General
Practice is increasingly stressful, but the ethos of our Practice places great
emphasis on work-life balance including working as a multi-disciplinary team
along with workflow redesign, we aim to reduce the majority of unnecessary
workload and anxiety/stress from our GPs.
Main duties of the job
The position will focus on delivering primary
care services to our patients; involving face to face, telephone, video and
online consultations. Limited home visits; as a result of our brilliant city home
visiting service.

Purpose built, recently refurbished, premises in Spondon Village with a satellite location in Chaddesden residential area
12,500 patients cared for by a high performing multi-disciplinary team including 5 Partners, 4 Salaried GP's, a nurse team of 6 who are specialists in Diabetes, COPD, Asthma and Women's Health and independent prescribing, 2 Clinical Pharmacists, Musculoskeletal Practitioners, Mental Health OT worker, Care Co-ordinator, City home visiting team and a fantastic support team
We play a full part in a very proactive PCN with 9 other local practices. After working together for many years, we have a positive and supportive approach to the challenges working in Primary Care presents

About us
Chapel Street Medical Centre is a friendly, patient centred
practice. We have a strong team ethos and have built a supportive

maximise digital tools to improve the way in which we work. We are a
training practice and have close links with Nottingham University Medical
school, have training status for GP Registrars giving opportunity to get
involved with debriefs and supervision of registrars and medical students.
Both experienced and newly qualified GPs are welcomed, we
encourage new ideas and innovative approaches to deliver the best care. The position is available for immediate start;
