Shift
Pattern: 15 hours weekly
8am to 4pm (negotiable)
Day to be arranged 2 days a week
Pay rate: £22.89 excluding. holiday pay
The Community Physio team has an
opportunity for an experienced band 6 Physiotherapist to join the team based in
Maidenhead and Slough for 2 days a week working in the Community.

Main duties of the job
Working
as part of the rehabilitation team with responsibility for own caseload,
without direct supervision, supported by the Therapy Lead.
To work
in the community in a flexible way to meet the needs of the service.
To work
as required, across the east of Berkshire, to provide care to patients where
the need is greatest.
To
undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
Responsible
for the advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients, provide a diagnosis
and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme
To
supervise junior staff

Job description
You will
hold a mixed caseload developing your clinical skills within early years,
school age and special schools. You will need to have previous experience
working with families from a wide variety of backgrounds and have an
understanding of the diverse needs of children and young people.
You will
collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team communicating with various parties
to ensure that we deliver a seamless service. Understanding of the value of
integrated services is essential. You will be expected to act as an ambassador
for our service and will have excellent communication skills ensuring you are
calm and confident, dealing with challenging situations.

Minimum 1
year community Experience
Being
able to work autonomously and in managing case loads.
Car
driver / owner able to travel to other locations within the trust using own
vehicle (mileage paid)

RiO training
In addition to
experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
Relevant Qualifications
Registration with the relevant
Registration Body if applicable.
