I am recruiting for this friendly and close knit Optical Practice in New Forest, they are seeking an Optometrist on a full time OR part time basis.. they are also open to Monday- Friday… NO WEEKENDS!

” Thsi role is full time, with the potential of part time. This practice will consider MONDAY- FRIDAY NO WEEKENDS!
” Salary is up to £65k + bonus, 5 weeks holiday, fees paid as well as other benefits, such as Bonus scheme based on sales (up to £5k Approx)
” Benefits – medical, dental, death in service, fees paid + 5 weeks holiday.
” Relocation bonus
” (Newly Qualified Optometrists – offering up to £50k basic + accommodation allowance for 1 year)
” Hours are 8:30-5:30 and are closed on Sundays in June, but will open on Sundays from July onwards
” Here is a chance to take on a role with a clinical environment and the option to develop into a partner of the business.

The right person for this position will be a highly professional and clinical with a keen eye for details and a passion for customer service. In this role you will be very well supported by a highly successful management team including a very clinical ophthalmic director who is also an examiner as well as a friendly supportive team on the shop floor. You will also be supported by a good level of qualified and unqualified support staff.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

Performing eyes tests to 25-minute appointments
Retinal imaging
Adhering to all GOC guidelines
Building excellent patient reports
Contact Lens Fittings

Requirements of the Optometrist

Must be GOC registered.
Open to newly qualified or experienced
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optometrist

For your efforts a competitive package of up to £65,000+ is on offer along with a strong bonus scheme, 33 days holiday and additional benefits including private medical, dental, death in service and all professional fees paid.
