Job summary
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Cardiac Physiologist wishing to further develop their skills within our rapidly developing Cardiac Physiology department. The individual will havesufficient experience post qualification, at band 5 level and be looking to expand their current knowledge and experience.
We will also support a newly qualified Cardiac Physiologist on a preceptorship programme.
Main duties of the job
The department offers a broad range of invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests, including a wide range of ambulatory monitoring, physiologist led/medically supervised ETT, Echocardiography, Cardiac Device implantation and follow-up (pacemakers, resynchronisation and high voltage devices)as well as diagnosticCardiac Catheterisation.
We are looking to appoint a Cardiac Physiologist who would like to specialise in echocardiography and relish the challenge of being part of our team.
Applicantsmust hold a BSc in Cardiac clinical physiology or equivalent, ASCT Part 1and 2 or equivalence and working towards BSE accreditation.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
