Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified practitioner to join the Knowsley Children and Young People's Mental Health Service on a fixed term basis.
We are a very experienced, multi disciplinary team that are committed to providing excellent care and treatment for children and young people with mental health difficulties taking into consideration the Thrive Model.
The successful candidate should have previous experience in working with children and young people as well as families, although this is not essential. They will be able to work well as part of a team and be confident to work independently when required.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide high quality, evidence-based care for children and young people, and their families/carers within our community service. They will carry out duties as a practitioner under the supervision of a mentor.
They will function as a care co-ordinator to children and young people, assisting in assessment, planning and evaluation and review of care, within a recovery focused model of care.
