Job summary

It is a really exciting time for mental health services in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland as we move towards Neighbourhood teams which reflects the needs of our local areas throughout the County.

As part of this we are looking to recruit a number of Registered Mental Health Nurses to work across our Neighbourhood mental health teams (Adult & Older Adult pathways) and Hub and Spoke teams, located in Rutland; Charnwood, Coalville, Hinckley & Bosworth, Blaby & Lutterworth, Oadby, Wigston & Harborough, Melton & Rutland, City East and City West.

More services in the local neighbourhood is about bringing together medical, nursing, therapy and psychology with lived experience partners and the wider neighbourhood so that we give a better service to our patients, their families and advocates.

We are committed to a recovery and person-centred approach that focuses on helping individuals to identify their strengths and potential to maintain their own mental health and well-being. Leicestershire is one of the most ethnically diverse counties in the UK and therefore we welcome applications from people from a range of backgrounds who reflect and understand the socio-cultural barriers people face.
