The Tissue Viability team are looking for a Medical Equipment Support worker to join their team to support with harm free care agenda

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for collecting, cleaning and maintaining the static mattress stock.

The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate both the ability to prioritise tasks and to work with minimum supervision. You will also be flexible in your approach and be able to travel to all sites.

There is an opportunity to develop your skills further within Tissue Viability, supporting with education and stock of wound formulary products.

Training will be provided.

Person Specification

Qulaification

Essential

  • Literacy and numeracy qualifications equivalent to Functional Skills level 1 or above (e.g. GCSE Grade E or above)

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 2 in healthcare

Previous experience

Essential

  • Previous experience of customer focused environment
  • Experience of using computers systems for data entry and retrieval

Desirable

  • previous experience of health care settings

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Good written and verbal communication skill
  • Good customer care skills
  • Willing to learn undertake training
  • Able to work in a demanding busy environment and ability to manage time effectively
