Job summary

Modality LLP is a large-scale provider of NHS and private Outpatient Services, renowned for its innovative approach to delivering efficient pathways for patients requiring specialist care, leading to high-quality patient outcomes. We work in partnership with a number of hospitals across the country to collaboratively redesign outpatient services with more care being delivered in community settings. We also deliver private care for patients with private medical insurance and for self-pay patients.

We are recruiting a Senior Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational management of our Private Services portfolio.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of this role is to lead the day-to-day operational management of a portfolio of Modality Private services. The post holder will be responsible for working alongside clinicians, back-office teams and marketing partners to ensure delivery of high-quality services for self-pay and private medical insurance clients/patients. The Senior Operations Manager will also be required to interface with the senior management team of Modality NHS services.

  • Over 15 years of experience of delivering community outpatient services
  • Contracts with ICBs and hospital providers
  • A diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses and allied health professionals
  • Delivery of over 160,000 patient consultations per year
  • Delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week

Knowledge

Essential

  • Extensive operational experience in a relevant senior role within the NHS and/or private sector

  • Experience of working in a healthcare environment in a similar capacity, preferably within the private sector
  • Good understanding of the national and local context around NHS, self-pay and private medical insurance services
