Liverpool University Hospitals has satellite dialysis units at Aintree, Waterloo, Southport, Broadgreen, St Helens, Warrington and Halton hospitals and a dialysis unit on the Lower Ground Floor of the New Royal Liverpool hospital.

Main duties of the job

You will be supported in updating dialysis competency knowledge and skills and have an opportunity to earn extra income, or the flexibility of working primarily on the nurse bank.

There are opportunities to cover shifts, via the nurse bank, at all the satellite locations. The units are open Monday - Saturday and in addition to morning and afternoon dialysis treatment sessions Aintree, Southport, Waterloo, St Helens, Broadgreen and New Royal dialysis units have a twilight shift.

Currently there are a small number of nurses with dialysis experience on the nurse bank and we wish to expand the number of dialysis trained nurses.

You can choose to cover shifts in a specific dialysis.
