Job summary
Provide senior leadership to the secretarial and administration team to provide a comprehensive service to the Cardiology Consultants, their teams and the Rapid Access Nurses.
Work in a team based secretarial service providing support for each other and ensuring continuity of the service at times of annual leave and sickness.
The post holder will have managerial responsibility for other administrative/secretarial staff within their teams
Main duties of the job
Prioritise workload of whole team, to ensure all targets are met, and also work on own initiative to ensure patients are seen in a timely fashion and in line with Trust policies in respect of the Access Targets.
